Video-installation POEMS and ONIONS was created together with the spanish sound artist Miguel Molina Alarcón, head of the project of investigation of life and work of poet Concha Méndez (1898-1986). In the video-recordings for three channels, the niece of Concha Méndez, Paloma Ulacia Altoaguirre acts as her aunt in he space of the kitchen, of her home in México, where the orginal poetic action took place. In the presentation in the forth channel, we took benefit of the digital voice recordings of Concha Méndez, preserved in the National Sound Archives of Mexico, based on analog recordings made by Paloma Ulacia Altoaguirre y Hector Perea.
